Research summary
Japanese Literature Translation in Contemporary China History of postwar Japanese-Chinese literature negotiation History of postwar Japanese Literature History I have studied the translation and acceptance of Japanese literature in contemporary China. It traces the history of how the translation of Japanese literature was deeply involved in the formation of Chinese politics, economy, diplomacy, society and culture. From now on, I would like to explore the history of literary negotiations between Japan and China after World War II, try to create a post-war history of Japanese literature focusing on the marginal literature such as Okinawan literature and Hansen's disease literature.
