Research summary
Physiological responses and chronic adaptations to various types of physical exercise My research focuses on physiological responses and chronic adaptations to various types of physical exercise, with particular interests in resistance exercise and sloped walking/running. My main research techniques are (in the order of experience) muscle function testing, electromyography, ultrasonography, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, magnetic resonance imaging (T-1, T-2), and transcranial magnetic stimulation, etc.

1.	Bridging research and practice My research centers on applied research such as examination of training effects in humans. Personally speaking, I have been regularly conducting various exercises, particularly resistance training, and have been seeking for safe, efficient, and effective training modalities.
