Research summary
Design and evaluation of learning activities in industry-academia collaboration education In industry-academia collaboration education programs, it goes without saying that respecting the autonomous learning of the student is essential. On the other hand, it is also necessary to design learning environment and learning activities so that such autonomy is exerted as effectively as possible in order to enable an even higher learning effect. In this study, as a study in the learning science field, the design and evaluation of learning activities from this point of view have been conducted continuously, by the application of fundamental knowledge concerning collaborative learning. Up to FY2014, studies have been made for three large individual themes, the development of project learning by the introduction of social context into class, the design and evaluation of industry-academia collaboration project applying the jigsaw method in first year education, and the interviews and qualitative analysis as well as the study of students and graduates who have completed the program. From now, while summarizing the fruits of previous studies, the two following approaches will be studied: The first is to expand the subject of the study to reflection activities (reflection in action, reflection on action) to project management type activities, and to job design activities. The second is to progress from a study in class units to a study on curriculum units.
