Research summary
Control principle of cellular functions It is essential for inducing normal cellular functions to control the spatiotemporal activities of signaling molecules appropriately. However, it has not been clarified what mechanisms regulates harmonic patterns and rhythms of signaling molecules activities. My goal is to elucidate the control principle producing the harmonic patterns and rhythms of signaling molecules activities in the cells. In mathematical biology, it has been reported that some theories can explain to produce spontaneous patterns and rhythms. Therefore, I have clarified the control principles producing patterns and rhythms using both theoretical and experimental analyses.
