Research summary
We apply chaos and nonlinear dynamics to mechanical systems such as a chaotic gas turbine and nonlienar oscillators. We are currently studying on the following subjects. (1) Chaos-based stream cipher (2) Data clustering using collective synchronization and its application to plant diagnosis (3) Nonlinear time series analysis (4) Forecasting wind direction using supervised machine learning (5) Automatic pattern recognition of metal fracture surface using deep learning (6) Time series prediction by reservoir computing (7) Application of microneedles to transdermal drag delivery systems
