Research summary
Research on ideologies that supported the framework and ecosystem of performing culture Revues and cabarets, which flourished throughout the world in the 20th century, played an important role as a labor market in the formation of the entertainment and artistic culture that has continued to the present day. In Japan, from the 1950s to the 1970s, during the early stages of the clear differentiation of performing culture from the entertainment industry world, the performing arts world, and the visual media world, people from revues and cabarets are known to have had strong human and artistic networks. In my research, I analyze what kind of career development system the performing arts industry had in the process of building its own labor market and human resource development pathways in terms of human interaction, artistic content, and institutions, and I analyze the art and culture of 20th century society that formed the basis for the current formation of entertainment and art and culture categories It clarifies the characteristics of the ideology and social stratification.
