Research summary
Theoretical and demonstrational studies of the formation process of the standards =Research theme(2)= The subtitle of our research is ‘International comparative research between JasPar and AUTOSAR’. These two consortia have a same purpose for building up an open standard in automotive E/E (electronic and electrical) architecture. The main purpose of our project is to 1)add some feature and attributes of standards consortia in order to have a better understanding on the term and its problem 2)examine not only its context, but also the dynamics of formation process. The dynamics of the formation process can be further resolved into 6 phases: 1 initial conditions; 2 opportunity recognition; 3 setting of objectives; 4 design and specification of project; 5 implementation; 6 delivery and performance. We investigate through all the phase of the formation process of AUTOSAR and JasPar. By conducting the comparative research, it will be expected to distill the European and Japanese characteristics for setting a standard in automotive E/E architecture. =Research theme(3)= strategic alliances of the firm
