1.	Developing of high efficiency solar cells with Tin(II) sulfide(VI) thin film absorber

Research summary
Developing of high efficiency thin film solar cells Renewable energy is one of the most interesting energies for alternatives to fossil fuel and nuclear energies with the large-scale installation globally to obtain a sustainable society, including Japan. The solar cells, converting from solar energy to electric energy, are essential to be developed for the renewable energy since they do not lead to the emission of carbon dioxide, which is a cause of the greenhouse effect. The global installation of the solar cells with low cost and high conversion efficiency of the solar cell is vital for the creation of sustainable society. My research theme is to enhance conversion efficiency of Tin (II) Sufide (VI) (SnS) and CsPbI3 thin-film solar cells through the optimization of their band structure. This is because the SnS and CsPbI3 demonstrates the appropriate electrical and optical properties as an absorber of the solar cell. These thin-film solar cells with various structures are worthy to be developed and characterized.
